The front features WE TIED THE KNOT! text above your first names and date and wedding location. This text is white and your names are highlighted with a lively, whimsical handwriting font that lends a sense of warmth and familiarity to this modern minimalist look. You might choose to change WE TIED THE KNOT! to JUST MARRIED or WE ELOPED! or another message that suits your style.
You can also change the font and size of any of the text. For example, you might prefer a different font for your names. While we’ve used first names for our sample text, you might change the names format when you edit for your own details to include your last name as well, or “Mr. and Mrs….. ‘ or something else.
We’ve chosen sharp corners as the default shape but rounded corners also work wonderfully with this design, so try both looks in editing mode and see which grabs you!
On the back we’ve made the background transparent to let the color of the paper simply serve as the base. But you can choose a color for the base in editing mode if you prefer a certain look.
We’ve put some placeholder text on the back for you to replace with your own message as you see fit, but please don’t feel restricted by this. If you prefer delete our placeholder text and keep the back totally blank so that you can write a handwritten note on each card instead, you can do that.
Or you might want to replace our text with your message and closing and then hand sign your names when you receive the cards. You can also change the font, and you can change the text color if you prefer something other than the gray tone we’ve picked.
The default paper type, matte, has a soft warmth to it and resists smudging, so it’s a great choice for writing your own message. You can edit this and choose semi-gloss or another paper type instead. Just please be sure in any event to delete our sample/placeholder text on both sides of the card, and please remember to replace the sample photo on the front with your own.
