Simple Elegant Elopement Announcements w/ Photo

Description

These simple elegant elopement announcements feature your photo on the front. They’re 5″ x 7″ by default and you can order them with or without white envelopes.

Are you looking for a digital elopement announcement card? In addition to the print option, this and our other elopement flat cards are now available as instant downloads, too!

Your first names are highlighted in an elegant shade of rose gold and by ample white space with your date and location below them and a ‘we tied the knot! message above your names. This effect is heightened by our unconventional use of upper and lower case.

While we’ve used all upper case for your names, we’ve used lower case exclusively for the other text on the front, even when upper case is usually called for, as in your city and state name, etc. We’ve taken this liberty in the spirit of following the rules unless we break one in a consistent way, thereby creating our own rule! 😉

In addition to having the option to change the color, font and size of the text on both sides, you can of course use upper case where you see fit. You can also change or delete text fields-you might, for example, change ‘we tied the knot!’ to ‘we got married!’ or something else. Or you might include your last name as well as your first names on the front, or change the date format, or delete the location without replacing it with your own, for an even simpler look.

We’ve chosen standard sharp corners as the default card shape, but rounded corners also work wonderfully with this design. So check both looks in editing mode and see which grabs you!

The default text color on the front is black and on the back it’s a very dark gray that’s mostly black. You can change any of the text color or font to suit your style. As a default background, on the front we’ve chosen a transparent base which lets the color of the paper simply serve as the base tone. On the back, we’ve chosen a background color called White Smoke, it’s a very light gray that’s mostly white. You can change the background on either side if you’d like.

We’ve put some placeholder text on the back for you to delete and replace with your own message, with or without your names, if you want to sign by hand when you get the cards. But you might also simply choose to delete our placeholder text and leave the back entirely blank so that you can write a message by hand on each card and sign your names.

The default paper type, matte, has a soft warmth to it and resists smudging, so it’s a great choice for writing your own message. You can edit this and choose another paper type instead.

In any case please do remember that there’s placeholder text on the back as well and to delete all of our sample/placeholder text on both sides of the card, as well as our sample photo.
