Simple Elopement Announcements with Photo
These simple elopement announcements in a horizontal format feature ‘we eloped!’ in a lively handwriting script. They’re part of our elopement announcement cards collection on zazzle and are easily customized with your details and to suit your style.
You can order them with or without white envelopes and the default size is 5″ x 7″.
The cursive script is white and we’ve chosen all lower case. We also added an extra space between the last letter and the exclamation mark for aesthetic reasons. See how it looks with your favorite photo, and you might decide to change the message to something like ‘just married!’ or ‘we tied the knot!’, etc. You can also change the font or size of this text according to your needs and the look of your own photo with the text.
We’ve set standard sharp corners as the default shape, but this design also looks great with rounded corners. The ‘ticket’ shape has a distinct flair and is also a popular choice. So try various looks in editing mode to see which grabs you!
You might choose to change the font, punctuation or color used for various text elements of this design on the front and/or back. For example, you might choose to give another color to your name text on the front. The default color for the names text is an elegant gold tone called California Gold. We also offer versions with your names in rose gold as well as a chic tone that has elements of gray and black.
You might choose to delete something or change a text field entirely with a different message. For example, you might decide to change the names format to include your last name, or to a Mr. and Mrs.(last name) format, etc.
On the back, we’ve set the background as transparent to let the color of the paper simply serve as the base tone. But you might choose to change this to a certain color for the background instead.
We’ve put some placeholder text on the back for you to delete and replace with your own message, with or without your names, if you want to sign by hand when you get the cards. But you might also simply choose to delete our placeholder text and leave the back entirely blank so that you can write a message by hand on each card and sign your names.
In any case please do remember that there’s placeholder text on the back as well and to delete all of our sample/placeholder text on both sides of the card, as well as our sample photo!
The text color on back is a gray tone, but you can change the color, font and text size when you insert your message there.
We hope you’ll enjoy experimenting with these simple elopement announcements and make them uniquely yours with zazzle’s intuitive design tools, your favorite photo and your inspiration!
