It features ‘We tied the knot!’ in black in a modern script that feels warm and familiar. This element of the design cannot be altered.
When you replace our sample names and date below that with your own, you can also change the font and color to suit your style. The default color for your names and date is an elegant gold tone called California Gold. We also offer a version with black.
While we’ve used just first names in our sample text, you can of course add a last name, or ‘Mr.s and Mrs….’ and you can also edit the ‘&’ symbol between the names to show a ‘+’ symbol or something else.
We’ve set standard sharp corners as the default, but this design also looks great with rounded corners, so try both looks in editing mode to see which grabs you!
On both sides, we’ve made the background transparent to let the color of the paper simply serve as the base tone. You can edit this and pick a color on one or both sides if you prefer.
We’ve put some placeholder text on the back for you to delete and replace with your own message, with or without your names, if you want to sign by hand when you get the cards. But you might also simply choose to delete our placeholder text and leave the back entirely blank so that you can write a message by hand on each card and sign your names.
In any case please do remember that there’s placeholder text on the back as well as the front and to delete all of our sample/placeholder text on both sides of the card, as well as our sample photo!
The text color on back is a very dark gray that’s mostly black, but you can change the color, font and text size.
The default size is a stylishly distinct square 5.25″ x 5.25″ and you can order your cards with or without white envelopes.
