You might choose to change the font, punctuation or color used for various text elements of this design on the front and/or back. For example, you might choose to give a certain color to the line of text that includes your names, or change the SAVE THE DATE text above that to SAVE OUR DATE or something different. You might choose to delete something or change a text field entirely with a different message.
The background on the front is set as transparent to let the color of the paper simply serve as the base tone, but you can edit this and choose a color if you prefer. On the back, we’ve chosen a background color called White Smoke, it’s a very light gray that’s mostly white. You can also change this if you’d like.
We’ve added some simple, short sample text on the back in all lower case in dark gray. Instead of entering your own wedding website address, you might decide to enter a different sort of message there instead. You can also change the font, text color or use some upper case, etc. Of course you can also simply delete all of our sample text on the back and leave that side of the card totally blank, perhaps to hand write your own message later, or to send without any text on the back.
The default paper type, matte, has a soft warmth to it and resists smudging, so it’s a great choice for writing your own message. You can edit this and choose semi-gloss or another paper type instead. In any case, please do remember to delete all of our sample text on both sides as well as our sample photo. The default size is 5″ x 7″.
